There are a lot of folks that love the Chevrolet Chevelle autos. My favorites are the late 60s such as the 1966 to 1969 Chevelles.
Glen Thomas of Poor Mans Restoration in Mobile Alabama, offers a classic from the past, a low-mileage 1966 Chevelle Malibu. This Chevelle is clean, all-original and unmodified. It is in remarkably preserved condition.
Glen said, “The Chevelle is a two-owner Chevrolet with 51,000 original miles. It has factory air and the car has full documentation including the original bill of sale. The 2nd owner bought the car at an estate sale and according to his statement, he drove it for two days and then parked in his barn and let it set for the next 25 years. He must have been pretty smart because he said ‘he bought it as an investment’.”
The Chevelle is gold and has original carpet, seat covers, etc. Fuel and brake lines have been replaced with original replacements and is driven daily in Glen’s neighborhood.
You can see this Chevelle at Cruisin The Coast. Glen is undecided whether the car will be run through the auction or not but all are welcome to talk about purchase. Looks like Glen will be at the show October 8 -10.
